Blood

Well the results were all negative. Which is a little shocking. I mean not one thing off in all those results? First time I've been perfect in anything!

Well I was being tested for rheumatoid arthritis. The rheumatoid factor almost gave it away. I've had pain in my joints for maybe the last year or so and since they are all negative I don't really have an explanation for it. Hmmm maybe I'm just weird. Oh wait you knew that already.

So I'm off to gorge myself on TV I've had recording onto my parent's cable box for the last 3 weeks and to finish up some of the cartoons I was working on.

Believe me, I know the frustration of not having a diagnosis when something is clearly wrong, so I am sorry you remain without an answer; On the other hand, I am glad you don't test positive for SLE or for RA. Keep in mind, though, and I am kicking myself for saying it (ouch! ouch!), that you should be retested...

I think I will slink off now, having been *so* helpful, *so* reassuring!

Bonne nuit!

Part of me is glad nothing came back positive. Of course the other part now thinks I'm a hypochondriac.

I've warned her I'll be back in 6 months if it's still a problem (somehow after a year I think it still will be).

Until then it's back to ice / heat packs and trying not to shuffle around even when that's all I want to do.

Bah reassurance is overrated. Blind panic is where the real money's at.

hiya, hugs from me. Complete nuisance not knowing. 6 months seems a long time to wait. I'd go bug her again after 3.

Hi!

I'll be nearly qualified by the time the 6 months are up! If everything flares up again I'll go moan.

:)
